A complex renovation of the 145,00 square foot complex took place after hurricane Laura devastated the McNeese H&HP. This facility is home to the men's and women's basketball and volleyball programs and the Department of Health and Human Performance. The main basketball arena seats 4,242 and the volleyball court has seating for 500.

The H&HPE facility is a synergistic initiative emphasizing the interaction and cooperation between the Health and Human Performance Department and the Athletic Department. In addition, this facility will create a new 4,200-plus-seat home for Cowboy and Cowgirl Basketball and a 600-seat facility for Cowgirl Volleyball.
